Sports Guards That Stay in Place When It Counts

Custom Fit Makes All the Difference

A sports guard only works if you’re wearing it. A guard that fits well stays in place, doesn’t interfere with breathing, and doesn’t require constant clenching. That’s what a custom-made guard delivers — and it starts with an impression of your actual teeth.

What Custom Guards Do

They’re molded to your exact teeth. They fit snug without you having to bite down to keep them in place. You can breathe. You can communicate. Most importantly, they stay in during impact — which is the whole point.

Who Needs Them

High school and college athletes

Football, hockey, lacrosse, basketball — anything with contact or collision risk.

Adult rec league players

Recreational doesn’t mean collision-free.

Combat sports athletes

Boxing, MMA, wrestling. If contact is part of the sport, protection matters.

Anyone with braces

Impact plus brackets equals soft tissue injuries. Custom guards are designed around your orthodontic hardware.

What Makes Them Worth It

They work better

Custom fit means better coverage and impact absorption.

You’ll actually wear them

Comfortable = worn. That’s the whole equation.

They last longer

Professional-grade materials hold up through full seasons.

They can reduce concussion risk

A proper guard absorbs some impact force that would otherwise transfer to the skull.

What They Cost

One custom guard is typically about the same price as a good pair of cleats. And it protects something you can’t replace.

For Parents

If your kid plays contact sports, a custom guard is worth the investment.
Knocked-out permanent teeth don’t grow back. Fractured teeth require crowns or implants. Soft tissue injuries from brackets are painful and preventable.
A custom guard addresses all of that.

How to Take Care of Them

  • Rinse after each use
  • Brush with a toothbrush and soap (not toothpaste)
  • Store in the case, not loose in your bag
  • Keep out of hot cars — heat can warp them
  • Bring them to dental appointments so we can check for wear
They should last at least a full season, usually longer.

When to Replace Them

  • If it cracks or tears
  • If teeth have shifted or braces came off
  • If it’s worn down from clenching
  • If it’s been a few years and the material is degrading
